If the weather prevents us from having the parade on Sunday, December 1st, we will reschedule it to the following Sunday, December 8th.
If we need to reschedule, we will post it here.
Location and Parade Route
The parade route (red arrows) will go straight through the heart of Floyd following the same route from years past!
The red highlighted area is the viewing area, where everyone will gather to watch the parade.
The blue square is the FCHS parking lot, which will be the staging area for floats and participant drop off on the day of the parade.
Parade Length and Timing
The parade will reach downtown Floyd around 3 PM, and is estimated to run for 60-90 minutes.
The parade could be shorter or longer, but we’re estimating that it will end around 4:00 to 4:30 PM.

When you’re ready, fill out our float registration form to get on the list!
Artisan Market
Throughout the rest of the afternoon, and continuing through the parade, there will be an Artisan Market in the Community Market Pavilion! Local and regional artists will gather to sell their handmade arts and crafts.
Some local business will also be selling snacks and drinks right outside the Artisan Market too!
