Types of Information Collected

We may collect various information including, personal information, automatically collected information (cookies), and more.

Who We Share Your Data With

We may share data with parties who are directly involved with fulfilling department duties. For example, when you submit a contact form, your information will be shared with the staff in our office to respond to your request. 

We may also share your data with outside companies in order to provide our community with better service. For example, we may share limited data with Google for their advance analytics platform. This will help us collect useful insights into how we can improve our website, core offerings, and more. We may also share limited data with Square to facilitate online checkout and credit card processing. 

Outside of these activities (those directly or indirectly related to the services we provide), we do not share or sell any data.

How Long We Retain Your Data

Unless otherwise posted, we retain data indefinitely. The primary purpose of this is simply to maintain an accurate, historical record of registrations, participants, purchases, etc.

Some data is kept only by third-party providers to ensure information security (for example credit card information when checking out). In this case, your data is retained according to the third-party provider’s data privacy policy.

Any individual may request that their information be partially or completely deleted at any time. However, some data is required to be retained for a minimum period of time for legal and/or liability reasons. If we are required to retain your information, we will respond to your request for deletion with that information.

Right to Refuse to Share Personal Data

Anyone, at any time, may refuse to share their personal data. However, by refusing to share personal data, you accept that we may not be able to provide you with the service you are requesting.

Example 1: When purchasing items online, you have the right to refuse to share your payment information. However, by refusing to share this information, we cannot process your payment, and therefore, cannot accept or fulfill your online order.

Example 2: When registering your child for a recreational sport, you have the right to refuse to share your child’s personal information including their date of birth. However, to ensure the safety of all participants, we are obligated to verify date of birth and ensure each participant is placed in the correct age group. By refusing to share this information, we cannot safely place your child in any age division, and therefore, we cannot accept your child’s registration.
