Jacob Agee
Jacob, born and raised in Floyd County, brings deep passion and dedication to his role as the director of Floyd County Parks and Recreation. Having led the department through its transition from an authority, Jacob’s leadership has been pivotal in shaping its growth. Recognized nationally with the NRPA’s prestigious 30 Under 30 award, his commitment to the community drives his vision to continually improve programs, with the goal of making Floyd County Parks and Recreation the best in southwest Virginia.
Assistant Director
Christian Whitt
Christian is deeply committed to providing high-quality athletic programs for the county’s youth. His experience with both Montgomery County and Pulaski County Parks and Rec Departments, combined with his Sports Management degree from Radford University are just a part of what makes him the ideal Assistant Director. He singlehandedly orchestrates each sports season, managing everything from team uniforms and scheduling practices and games to coordinating officials and handling all parent questions. Beyond his full-time responsibilities, Christian regularly attends recreation games to support our rec teams. His hard work and dedication ensure that every aspect of the athletic programs runs smoothly, reflecting his genuine care for the youth of our community.
